The research department is a department established under the Kisii County Department of Health with a core mandate to coordinate research activities within the county, develop and conduct research studies within the county, monitor study implementation, and serve as a secretariat for the Institutional Scientific and Ethics Review Committee (ISERC).

 

Our Services

  • Approval and coordination of all research activities within the county
  • Development and conduct of epidemiological studies within the county/KTRH
  • Development and conduct operational research studies within the county/KTRH
  • Review and approval of study proposals under the KTRH ISERC for ethics
  • Collaboration with any partner organizations within the country and outside the country
